How our Organic CBD Oil is Crafted
Our process begins with choosing the right local farms in Southwest Colorado, who adhere to only the highest quality organic farming practices. Starting with the soil beneath our hemp plants, we ensure that no contaminants, heavy metals, or microbes are present. The USDA organic hemp flower is then subjected to a rigorous quality inspection to make sure there are NEVER any GMOs or pesticides used in the growing process. The result is a clean, locally grown, high-quality organic hemp plant rich in cannabinoids and free from ANY harmful chemicals.
The Organic CBD Oil Process
After being grown with the highest level of organic farming practices, our USDA organic hemp plants are then harvested and transported to a state-certified and inspected facility to begin the ethanol extraction process. This method yields better CBD oil purity, uses less energy, and gets rid of all residual solvents- making it a clean, high-quality, whole plant extract. This CBD oil is then combined with a carrier oil which allows it to be easily measured for consistent dosage and increases its bioavailability so you can better digest and absorb the cannabinoids within.
Organic CBD Oil FAQs
What is CBD?
CBD is short for cannabidiol, which is one of many naturally occurring cannabinoids found in the hemp plant. The plant consists of over 100 cannabinoids including THC, CBD, CBG, and CBN. Cannabidiol is recognized in the medical community as holding many potential health benefits and has been the focal point for many recent scientific studies involving cannabis.
Why choose an organic CBD oil?
Organic CBD oil, much like an organic vegetable you would find at the supermarket, is held to a much higher standard than non-organic CBD. Organic certification comes with many requires including no pesticides, harmful chemicals, or synthetic fertilizers. It also requires specific tilling practices on the soil, which helps it remain healthy for years and helps to replenish important nutrients back into the land. Organically grown hemp is more than better for your body – it is better for the earth.
What is full spectrum CBD?
Full spectrum means that the CBD oil is a whole plant extract, including more naturally occurring cannabinoids than just CBD. Often, companies choose a CBD isolate product, which means that the product contains only CBD without any additional cannabinoids. The cannabis plant is made of over 100 natural cannabinoids and we believe that including a mix of multiple cannabinoids allows for a synergistic relationship to form between these compounds. This is also known as the entourage effect.
What are the benefits of CBD oil?
CBD oil is used by many people to address stress and anxiety as well as other conditions including depression, insomnia, inflammation, epilepsy, and more. Since the study of cannabis and hemp is still a new frontier, there are no claims that CBD can help with any of the mentioned ailments and the FDA has not yet accepted it as an alternative treatment for these conditions. Although, there are many incredible scientific studies that have been recently conducted to work on making cannabis a more recognized and accepted form of medicine, and new studies continue to grow the field of study.
What is the difference between hemp and marijuana?
Hemp and marijuana both come from the cannabis plant but there is one key difference between the two. Hemp contains less than 0.3% THC content and is legally required for CBD products. Marijuana, on the other hand, contains more than 0.3% THC. Since CBD products are crafted from hemp, it is unlikely you will feel any psychoactive effects from such a low amount of THC, which makes it a favorable choice for people looking for the potential benefits of cannabis without the high.
100% Organic Ingredients
Every ingredient in our full spectrum CBD oil is USDA certified organic, which means a lot more than just a standard of quality. A USDA organic certification means we have followed a strict set of required guidelines to earn the USDA organic symbol on our labels.
3rd-Party Lab Tested
Every batch of CBD oil is tested by a 3rd party independent lab in Colorado. This provides an unbiased analysis of each batch of CBD and provides tests that report on the potency, purity, and quality of the whole plant extract.
Full Spectrum CBD Oil
Also known as a “whole plant extract”, full spectrum CBD oil includes a wide variety of cannabinoids: CBD, THCa, CBG, and CBN. When all of these cannabinoids are present, they have shown to work synergistically to more effectively react with our endocannabinoid system.
Local Hemp Farms in Colorado
We promise to always use local, healthy, organic cannabis plants rather than discarded parts outsourced from other areas of the country. We will NEVER sacrifice quality to save time or money and will always use sustainable, natural, organic growing practices.
